Variety Entertainment has worked with HBCUs to produce concerts on multiple occasions and understands the unique nuisances of curating a production that engages the student body, community and alumni. The organization has produced events at Florida A&M previously and the company’s CEO is a proud Rattler. Variety can provide the following services to support the execution of the Homecoming Concert:
- Production Logistics & Management
- Developing & managing the overall production budget
- Booking talent and negotiating rates
- Establishing the production schedule and run of show and securing vendors for all components
- Managing all aspects of production, which include sound/lighting, stage management, etc.
- Managing the fulfillment of all talent production & hospitality riders
- Managing all logistics involving talent participation, which may include: travel arrangements, sound check, media appearances, etc.
- Facilitating and serving as the liaison for communication with the venue regarding production and talent logistics
- Booking additional talent, hosts and DJs (as requested)
- Marketing & Promotions
- Executing media buys (radio, TV, paid social, etc.) on behalf of the University
- Developing event flyers and collateral for social media, campus and community promotions
- Engaging talent and social media influencers in a social media campaign
- Identifying and engaging promotional partners based on the agreed upon budget.
- Fee Structure: Talent, logistics and promotional budget will be provided by the University. An agency fee of 15% of the total budget will be paid to Variety Entertainment for production, promotion and talent booking services.
- Bar Concession management and Vendor services.
